What we do
ExploreFrag publishes plain-English guides on how Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) services — including Klarna, Afterpay, Affirm, Zip, Clearpay and Sezzle — interact with your credit score. We cover the US, UK, Canada and Australia separately, because credit bureaus, regulators and provider policies differ meaningfully between these markets.
How we research our guides
Our editorial team reviews publicly available information from credit bureaus (such as Equifax, Experian and TransUnion), financial regulators (such as the FCA in the UK and ASIC in Australia), and BNPL providers’ own published terms. Because provider policies change relatively often, we review and update our guides periodically, and we link to original sources wherever possible so you can verify current terms yourself.
What we are not
ExploreFrag is not a lender, credit bureau, credit repair company, or financial advisor. Our Credit Impact Estimator is an educational tool that illustrates general factors — it does not access your actual credit file and does not produce a real credit score.
